Protip you can sell each trader 150 Clay Bowls, 150 Dinner Plates, and 30 Clay Amorphia (which is 3 stacks each). Make Cobblestone in your inventory until you unlock Cement/Concrete. Now switch to the campfire and make Clay Bowls, Dinner Plates, and Clay Amorphia until you unlock Cobblestone at 20. Do this till level 5, but keep burning in more stone so when you do finally unlock cement you will already have some. Yes you just smelt in stone, only to burn out stone. Masonry: After burning in Small Stones into the Forge (this is well before you know cement / concrete, which comes later under Masonry), make Small Stones in the Forge. Protip: Also burn in Small Stones, yes even before you know Cement/Concrete. You don't really need to bother getting that much higher a level until companion skills rise to higher levels (you will quickly find you can make Tool Heads well before you can make Tools). Continue to make Forged Iron until you unlock Anvil at 15. Then you can go make your own Forge in whatever house you are staying at.
